SnappyBaby Rolls Out Revolutionary Birth Announcement at Southern Women’s Show in Memphis
MEMPHIS, TN March 1, 2007 - Pioneering on-line greetings company, Snappy Greetings introduces a new spin-off Company, SnappyBaby at the Southern Women’s Show March 9-11, at the Memphis Agricenter International, where they will rollout a revolutionary birth announcement that calls everyone for you when your baby is born.
The new birth announcement utilizes a variation of the technology used by SnappyGreeting’s SnappyGramTM product - the world’s only phone and email delivered greeting that includes a personalized message.
"SnappyBaby’s new birth announcement lets new parents call an unlimited number of phone recipients with a newborn’s birth facts and a personalized message, right from the hospital. The service is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and is activated by the push of a button from your cell phone," says SnappyBaby Founder and President Sherry Henson.
Expecting parents can create their birth announcement by logging on to SnappyBaby.com, where they choose a calling package ranging from 20 to 100 recipients. They are then prompted to pre-record an introductory greeting, and set up an address book. At the end of the process, the expecting couple is issued an order number and a personalized PIN number that they can print out and take with them to the hospital (or wherever the bay happens to be born) -- and the rest is up to Mother Nature and your OBGYN.
Once the baby is born, someone (it could even be the husband) calls the Toll Free SnappyBaby hotline, enters their personal PIN number and the Snappy switchboard instructs the caller to record their baby’s personal birth facts, along with anything else they may want to say. When the recording is completed and approved by the caller, they are then prompted to "Send" the announcement - and Snappy calls everyone on your list with a personal birth announcement, and an email birth announcement that plays your recorded message.
