SnappyBaby.com was conceived when SnappyGreetings team member Shannon Shaw was expecting her first child. She had arranged for her husband to call all of her friends. But as it turned out, her husband became so overwhelmed with being a new dad, he just couldn’t find the time to sit down and phone over fifty people on their call list. Sound familiar?
I thought there MUST be an easier way -- and eureka!... I had the idea to start a service that calls everyone for you about the birth of a new baby, right away. And SnappyBaby was born.
SnappyBaby makes announcing the birth of your new baby as easy as one phone call. Simply choose a calling package ranging from 20 to 100 recipients. You are then prompted to pre-record an introductory greeting, and set up your address book. At the end of the process, you’ll be issued an order number and a personalized PIN number that can be printed and taken to the hospital (or wherever the baby happens to be born) -- and the rest is up to Mother Nature and your Ob-Gyn.
Once the baby is delivered, the new mom or some else (if new mom doesn’t feel well enough), calls the toll-free SnappyBaby hotline, enters their personal PIN number and the Snappy switchboard instructs the caller to record their baby’s personal birth facts, along with anything else they may want to say about the blessed event. When the recording is complete and approved by the caller, they are then prompted to "Send" the announcement - and Snappy calls everyone on your list with a personal birth announcement, and a voice-email that plays the recorded message.
